Careers Morning

Posted on: 07/03/2026

What an inspiring Careers Morning at The Henry Box School!

Students across the school took part in a fantastic range of careers activities, supported by employers from an incredible variety of industries.

-Year 7 explored what it means to have a career and how qualifications can shape future choices.

-Year 8 took part in the MoneySense programme, designing a social venture to benefit the local community and presenting how they would fund it.

-Year 9 engaged in our Human Library, speaking directly with professionals about their roles, career journeys, and advice.

-Year 10 completed a workshop on CV and cover letter writing and how to develop a broad skill set that helps them stand out to employers.

-Year 11 participated in mock interviews, developing the confidence and skills they’ll need for their next steps.

-Sixth Form students joined specialist workshops to deepen their understanding of career pathways, employability, and life beyond school.

A huge thank you to all the employers and volunteers who generously gave up their time to support our young people. Your insight, enthusiasm, and encouragement genuinely enrich students’ experiences and help them imagine what’s possible for their futures.
