Sports Leaders

Our Sports Leaders play a vital role in the life of The Henry Box School, bringing energy, enthusiasm and leadership to a wide range of sporting events throughout the year. Students who wish to take on this responsibility complete an application process at the start of the academic year, demonstrating their commitment and passion for supporting sport within our community. Successful applicants become part of our wider Sports Leaders team, representing the school with pride.

Each year, The Henry Box School hosts around ten major sporting events for primary schools, and our Sports Leaders are at the heart of them all. They coach, guide and officiate across a diverse programme that includes football, cross country, Boccia, dance, cricket and athletics. Their professionalism and positivity shine through at every event.

We regularly receive wonderful feedback from staff, visiting schools and parents, praising how friendly, polite and helpful our Sports Leaders are. Their willingness to step up, support others and embody the values of The Henry Box School makes them fantastic ambassadors for our community.

We are incredibly fortunate to have so many students eager to take part each year. Students who not only embrace the role of Sports Leader, but who wear it with genuine pride.
