What will the exam be like?
Maths Exam Board: AQA 8300
Assessment: 3 Examinations
There are 5 main topics of maths; Number, Algebra, Geometry, Ratio and Proportion, and Data. All topics can appear in any paper and topics can appear in more than one paper.
Paper 1: Non-Calculator
- 1 hour 30 minutes
- 80 marks
- 33.3% of GCSE grade
Paper 2: Calculator
- 1 hour 30 minutes
- 80 marks
- 33.3% of GCSE grade
Paper 3: Calculator
- 1 hour 30 minutes
- 80 marks
- 33.3% of GCSE grade
For every question, pupils must show their working clearly and write down anything they type into their calculator.
