Year 11 Post 16 taster Day 2026

On Thursday Year 11 took part in our Post 16 Taster Day. Students began the day with one of our Sixth Form Tutors to experience life as a Sixth Former.

During periods 1-5 Year 11 students selected from our A Level and BTEC subjects to experience a real lesson with KS5 content. We also welcomed 5 external providers ranging from the RAF to local apprenticeships and colleges. Our newly refurbished Sixth Form Centre was open to welcome Year 11 at break and lunch. The table football tournament was highly competitive!

Year 11 embraced the day with enthusiasm and maturity, and the day was a great success in helping students make informed choices about their futures.
