Following on from the West Oxfordshire Cross-Country event, William (Year 7), Anna (Year 9) and Page (Year 9) all progressed to the Oxfordshire School Games Finals. William won the Year 7 boys competition and Anna and Page came 1st and 2nd in their race.

The Oxfordshire School Games Finals took place on Wednesday 11th December at Radley College and our students performed brilliantly against schools from across the county. In the Year 7 boys event, William came a respectable 8th. Anna finished 7th with Page in 14th at the end of their Year 9 girls event. We also entered 2 Year 10 girls in to the event, Lily and Elizabeth. Both girls performed really well against a very strong field of athletes. Lily finished in 12th position followed by Elizabeth who finished in 17th place.

All 5 were a credit to the school and the future of Cross Country running at The Henry Box School looks very positive indeed. Well done all!
