Scholars Programme Graduation Trip
Posted on: 18/07/2019Scholars Programme Graduation Trip
On Saturday 13th July eleven of our Year 9 students, who had taken part in the Scholars Programme, travelled to London with their families for their graduation ceremony. The ceremony was held at the London School of Economics.
The students have been studying the philosophical question 'Is there an External World?' with a PhD tutor, Alison Walsh, from Oxford University. They have written an extended essay on the topic and have achieved excellent results. All students gained either a 1st or a 2:1.
We are very proud of them and it has been a huge pleasure to work with the students. The programme has been made possible through kind donations from:
The Worshipful Company of Grocers
The Witney Lions
The Jim Cousins Trust
The Witney Educational Fund
The Bartlett Taylor Trust
We would like to thank them for their donations.
