We are absolutely delighted with this year’s GCSE results. Once again, our students have risen to the challenge and achieved fantastically well, particularly as most qualifications are new with more challenging content and rigorous assessment regime. 72% of students who sat examinations in English and maths achieved a 9-4 grade in both subjects which equals the excellent result achieved in 2017.
While we are proud of all students’ achievement, we would like to congratulate the following students for exceptional performance in their examinations, who achieved 7 or more grade 9-7 (A*/A):
Kyle Alcroft, Eleanor Browne, Emily Counter, Hannah Fenwick, James Hempstead, Amy Jackson, Ross Mackenzie, Rebecca Nolton, Tom Page, Sophie Pau, Isobel Peters, Eleanor Street and John Paul Thomas
