Year 7 visit Oxford University
Posted on: 14/11/2023On Friday 10th November, Year 7s from Churchill and Newton House visited Oxford Brooks University. The trip was organised as part of our Raising Aspirations programme. We all had a fantastic time and felt like ‘Uni’ students for a day.
In groups we had a tour with student ambassadors, sat in actual teaching areas and had sessions about life at university and future cities. Lunch was provided by the University and we had a session on personality traits and how this could help with our decisions for GCSE, A-Levels and beyond. No-one was surprised that Mr Tysom and Mr Chilvers came out as Clown fishes! What was your animal personality?
