DT students make bird boxes
Posted on: 17/02/2022Some of our DT students having been making bird boxes in lessons. We used old pallets and off-cuts where possible and went for a log-cabin style birdhouse. The students used glue, screws and nails to join them and have treated them with oil and varnish to help preserve them. Our students have put up four boxes in various locations around school and two have gone up in the driveway so that our neighbours may also be able to see the birds using the boxes.
