Pupil Premium and Year 7 Catch-up
Additional funding for underperforming Year 7 students has been made available by the Department for Education. The Catch-Up Premium is £500 of additional funding for students who did not achieve the scaled score of 100 Maths or English at Key Stage 2. The funding is intended to help students catch up to expected levels of attainment through intensive support at the start of their secondary education.
The school will assess the individual needs of each of the pupils who are eligible for the Catch-up premium to decide the best way to use the funding.
